Brikesh Singh is a senior strategic communications professional with over 23 years of experience working at the intersection of climate action, public engagement, and cultural change in India. He currently serves as Chief of Communications at Asar, where he leads the organisation’s narrative strategy, public engagement efforts, and network-building initiatives focused on environmental sustainability, mobility, and air quality.

Over the course of his career, Brikesh has designed and advised large-scale communication and advocacy efforts that translate complex environmental and policy issues into clear, credible, and actionable public narratives. His work spans citizen engagement, institutional communications, and cross-sector collaborations involving civil society, government stakeholders, and the creative industries.

He has played a key role in shaping climate storytelling ecosystems in India, including some recent initiatives under the climate Culture Collective that work with creators from the popular culture including film and entertainment industry stakeholders to mainstream accurate, solutions-oriented environmental narratives across popular culture.

Brikesh brings a systems-oriented perspective to environmental communication, with a focus on decentralised approaches, collaboration, and long-term impact. His work is informed by a deep understanding of India’s social, cultural, and political contexts.
