In an age of extreme vulnerability to climate change in India, it is important for everyone to take climate action. There are many ways to take climate action in today’s day and age to help mitigate the impacts of climate change. An excellent way to get involved is to volunteer or work professionally at organisations that are fighting climate change. Delhi


TERI

TERI is an independent organisation, pioneering in research, policy, consultancy, and implementation for over four decades. They work across sectors for sustainable development and their core belief lies in resource efficiency and waste management. Ashoka Trust for Research in Ecology and the Environment (ATREE)

Youngistaan Foundation

Youngistaan Foundation is an NGO founded by Arun Daniel Kumar Yellamaty that works for the most underprivileged people through various programs. These programs address issues like- hunger, homelessness, poverty, education inequity, gender inequality, taboos on menstruation, emergency responses, animal rights, and capacity building. Environmentalist Foundation of India

Environmentalist Foundation of India (E.F.I) is a wildlife conservation and habitat restoration group. A not-for-profit trust, it focuses on real-time and result-oriented conservation efforts.
